Through the Professional Picture Framer's Association's (PPFA) CERTIFIED PICTURE FRAMER® (CPF®) Program, a framer's knowledge is tested in such areas as mounting, glazing, frame cutting, preservation methods and the proper materials to be used in framing projects. A framer that passes the extensive exam earns the framer's mark of excellence, the CPF® designation. Fewer than 3,000 individuals worldwide have achieved CPF® status since the program's inception in 1986.

Here at Framed In Tatnuck we have the ONLY PPFA Certified Picture Framers® in Worcester! Cliff Wilson, CPF® and Casey Hickey, CPF® are on staff for design, framing and consultation. We recently took the MOST ribbons at the annual New England PPFA framing competitions!

The NEPPFA holds a Print Competition, where all framers must use the same print, and an Open Competition, where the framer chooses what they want to frame.

We received FOUR ribbons!

2nd Place in the Print Competition and 3rd Place in the Open Competition!

We also received Popular Choice ribbons in BOTH competitions! Popular Choice is a vote of the framers and framing vendors in attendance at the event. So, Our peers liked ours best!

Since the pieces will now go on to the national competition, we can't post pictures yet, but come into the shop and see them. We have them on display with the ribbons. Did I mention that we won FOUR ribbons!!!
